Dr. Alisa Chuang received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, before attending Marshall B. Ketchum’s Southern California College of Optometry. During this time, she completed optometric internships at the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center in Los Angeles, California, the Lawton Indian Health Service in Lawton, Oklahoma, and the San Diego Center for Vision Care in San Diego, California.
Following program completion, Dr. Chuang then pursued a residency at the Albuquerque Indian Health Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico focusing on ocular disease and primary care optometry. Dr Chuang joined California Eye Professionals Medical Group in 2025 and currently provides comprehensive eyecare to patients throughout the Inland Empire.
Dr. Chuang has experience working with chronic diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She also works with binocular vision issues and pediatric populations. Dr. Chuang’s primary area of practice is performing comprehensive eye exams, disease management, and pre- and post-operative management of refractive surgeries, such as cataract surgery and LASIK.
Dr. Chuang is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the California Association of Optometry, and the American Optometric Association.
California Eye Professionals has three central office locations in Temecula, Menifee, and Hemet, California. Each office offers general eye examinations and eye consults. Our optical boutiques featuring designer frames and contacts are available for patients to browse at each location.
