The decision to have laser or surgical vision correction is an important one that you should make carefully, not quickly. Choose a practice that focuses on safety, diagnostic technology, in-depth pre-operative evaluation with the surgeon, post-operative follow-up with the surgeon. Obviously, the experience of the surgeon is extremely important as well. We hope you will choose California Eye Professionals as your provider, but if you're shopping around, use this checklist to compare.

Has the surgeon been involved with refractive surgery for over 15 years?	Yes	No
Does the surgeon have extensive experience with ALL types of eye surgery and disease so that he may identify and treat any conditions that may preclude you from having Laser surgery? Or, does the surgeon only perform laser surgery?	Yes	No
Does the center use the Visx Star S3 system?	Yes	No
Does the surgeon personally evaluate each patient prior to surgery?	Yes	No
Does the center have access to laser and non-laser technologies to allow the surgeon to choose the best treatment method for each patient?	Yes	No
