Dr. Lee Brings new and up-to-date skills and expertise in eye care to our medical community. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri in 1995. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA in 1996. Dr. Lee went on to complete her Ophthalmology surgical training at the Mason Eye Institute at University of Missouri in 1999. In addition, Dr. Lee undertook further training in Ophthalmology at the Hermann Eye Center at the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Lee is trained in all aspects of comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology and is well qualified to meet the eye care needs of our patients. She has a special interest in working closely with the senior community in educating this growing population on common eye conditions of the elderly with emphasis on low vision and visual rehabilitation. Dr. Lee is published in major ophthalmic journals and has presented papers at local and national ophthalmology conferences. Her enthusiasm for the field, dedication to her patients and amiable personality reflect her deep appreciation for the inherent trust that develops within a physician-patient relationship.
She volunteers her services in primary care medicine as well as ophthalmology on medical mission trips. She enjoys travel and experiencing new cultures. Dr. Lee is fluent in mandarin and cantonese, french, and clinical spanish.
